We empower
We empower the researchers of tomorrow by giving today’s students a voice that’s heard. With a holistic approach to open science across four engagement pillars (learning, researching, publishing, and advocating), we offer many ways to get involved. We have a strong track record of achievements and are well-connected and respected in early-career researcher empowerment and open science.
the next generation of researchers
The majority of today’s scientific workforce and the future leaders in the scientific community are early career researchers (Kent et al., 2022, p. 3). They are of more diverse backgrounds than senior scientists and bring in new perspectives, less restricted by historic schools of thought (Kent et al., 2022, p. 3).
and establish a culture
There is no single way of practising open science (UNESCO, 2021, p. 19). We also do not have the resources for global-level shifts in such practises. Therefore, we focus on instilling the broadly applicable values and principles of open science (UNESCO, 2021, pp. 17-19) into the knowledge set of students and early career researchers.
